REGATHERING REGISTRATION

How do we regather at Gateway Church?

We’re excited for the opportunity to gather again in person! To adhere to the Governor’s guidelines for reopening houses of worship, Gateway Church is implementing the following practices for our campus.

Guidelines

Current guidelines require that religious services be limited to no more than 50% of the posted occupancy for the room. To accommodate these guidelines, beginning July 26, we will offer two worship services on Sunday morning – 9:00 am & 10:30 am.  To ensure that we stay within capacity limits, we are asking you to reserve your seat for the service of your choosing.

Before you save your seat…

Be sure to ask the following questions on behalf of your entire group before saving your seat for a Worship Service:

  • Am I showing any flu-like symptoms?
  • Have I had a fever of 100.4 or higher in the past 14 days?
  • Have I had prolonged exposure to someone who has tested positive for COVID-19?
  • Is there any medical reason why I shouldn’t be around others?

If you answered ‘yes’ to any of these questions, we strongly encourage you to attend Gateway online this weekend.

Health & Safety

Entrances

Please enter the building through the main doors at the front of the church. This allows us to control the flow of traffic and limit the number of areas needed to be sanitized between services.
Interior doors to the auditorium will remain open to limit contact of door handles.

Sanitation
Hand sanitizing stations will be available in the lobby. Our team will clean and disinfect frequently contacted surfaces in the Worship Center following each service.

Face Masks
As of May 29, 2020, the Governor of Virginia has required that everyone aged 10 or older wear face coverings in public buildings. As a result, we are asking each attendee 10 years of age and older to comply and wear a face covering as you attend a church service. We will have face masks available in the lobby for those who do not have their own. If this causes health concerns for you, the Governor has stated that you are NOT REQUIRED to wear a mask.

Restrooms
Restrooms in the lobby will be available for use, and staff will be on hand to clean throughout the morning.

Social Distancing

Seating

In order to maintain the 6 feet social distancing requirement, alternating rows will be marked off for each service. Family members are allowed to sit together, but we ask that you sit several feet away from the next family group.

Exiting

When the service is over, you will be dismissed by seating sections and ask to exit the side doors of auditorium to return to your vehicle.
